COVID-19 Guidelines
Dear El Mesias Family,
Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ!
I am excited to announce we will start Onsite Worship on
Sunday, November 1st, at 11:00 AM, Praise God!
In order to best serve you and our community, and comply with the safest of health recommendations, we will follow these guidelines:
1. Limiting access to only the sanctuary building
2. Wear face mask at all times (including children)
3. Temperatures will be taken before entering the sanctuary
3. Practice social distancing (keep 6 feet apart)
4. Use hand sanitizer regularly
5. No printed materials (hymnals, bibles, bulletins, etc.)
6. An offering basket will be centrally located at the altar
7. Childcare room will not be available
8. Communion will be served using individually wrapped elements
9. No coffee/refreshments will be served
10. Ushers will guide congregants to the pews and when exiting. The ushers are available all morning during the service.
I would like to remind you that if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, headaches, aches and pains, runny nose, sore/scratchy throat, fatigue, and diarrhea), it is imperative that you participate in Online Worship at home only as a sign of love for your fellow brothers and
sisters at El Mesias UMC.
Online Worship will continue to be broadcast every Sunday at 11:00 AM on Facebook live and you may continue to send your offering and tithes to El Mesias’ P. O. Box 30097, Houston, TX 77249-0097.
